12 executions on May 25, 23 executions since May 22, execution of a prisoner after 17 years of imprisonment, and execution of a woman on Sunday
Today, Sunday, May 28, Khamenei’s henchmen carried out the executions of two individuals in separate prisons. Monireh Nouri Kia, a female prisoner, was hanged in Mashhad prison, while Abdulrahman Mozafari, an elderly Kurd compatiot, was executed in Sanandaj prison after enduring 17 years of imprisonment. Similarly, on Saturday, May 27, Abdullah Totazehi, a fellow Baluch, met the same fate in Garmsar prison, along with Mohammad Amin Valinia in Khorram-Abad prison.
The mullahs’ regime has continued its ruthless approach, executing a minimum of 12 prisoners on Thursday, May 25. The names of seven of these individuals are referenced in the NCRI’s statement on May 27. Additionally, Ali Shahriari, Ali Salari, and Nader Alizehi, a Baluch prisoner, were hanged in Kerman prison, while two prisoners named Mohammad and Hamidreza faced the same fate in Rasht prison. Furthermore, on Wednesday, May 24, Parviz Javadi was executed in Zanjan prison.
In the past week alone, the judiciary of the mullahs’ regime has executed at least 23 prisoners. Disturbingly, the transfer of death row inmates to solitary confinement persists. On Friday, May 26, ten prisoners were moved to solitary cells in Gohardasht prison for the purpose of execution. One of them, Hasan Shahbazi, who was only 17 years old at the time of the crime, was transferred to the solitary cell of Adel Abad prison in Shiraz.
Once again, the Iranian Resistance urgently appeals to the international community, urging immediate action to save the lives of those unjustly sentenced to death, and implores international entities to dispatch an investigative delegation to visit the prisons and meet with the prisoners.
