Fifth Anniversary of the November 2019 Uprising – No. 2
Image Projections and Installation of Banners and Posters Depicting the Leadership of the Resistance
On the fifth anniversary of the November 2019 uprising, on Thursday and Friday, November 14 and 15, rebel groups conducted 110 anti-repression campaigns to honor the memory of 1,500 protesters who were martyred during the uprising by the Revolutionary Guards and other repressive forces. They emphasized their commitment to continuing their path.
Resistance Units in Tehran and various cities across Iran installed images of the Resistance leadership, Mr. Massoud Rajavi and Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, along with posters and flyers advocating the continuation of the November uprising, the overthrow of the clerical regime, and the establishment of a democratic republic in Iran. These were placed in dozens of locations in Tehran and other cities nationwide.
In addition to Tehran, cities such as Mashhad, Rasht, Fouman, Bandar Anzali, Bandar Abbas, Talesh, Shiraz, Shahr-e Kord, Kerman, Zahedan, Tabriz, Yazd, Nikshahr, Sari, Shushtar, Semnan, Isfahan, Lahijan, Pakdasht, Kashan, Karaj, Neka, Meybod, Ardakan, and Babol witnessed these campaigns.
Messages on the projections, posters, and flyers included: “Death to Khamenei,” “The November Uprising Continues,” “The Fire of the Uprising Will Ignite with the Army of the Hungry,” “On the Anniversary of the November Uprising, Iran’s Children Will Respond with Maximum Attack and a Hundredfold War,” “Woman, Resistance, Freedom,” “Death to the Oppressor, Be It the Shah or the Leader (i.e. Ali Khamenei),” “The Rule of Mullahs and the Monarchy Must End,” “Death to the Principle of Velayat-e Faqih,” “Poverty, Corruption, and Inflation—We Will Continue until the Regime is Overthrown,” “The Regime Understands Only the Language of Power and Firmness,” “With Uprisings and Revolts, the Occupied Homeland Can and Must Be Liberated,” “We Fight, We Die, We Will Reclaim Iran,” “We Are Men and Women of War—Fight and We Fight Back,” and “Bloodthirsty Khamenei, we will bury you,”
