Majority of members of the British House of Commons and 160 members of the House of Lords present honorary plaque to Mrs. Maryam Rajavi
At a gathering of 30,000 supporters of the Iranian Resistance in Bourget, north of Paris, an honorary plaque was presented to Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, by the former judge at the European Court of Justice Rt. Hon. Lord Slynn of Hadley, former President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Lord Russell-Johnston and Baroness Harris of Richmond on behalf of the majority of the members of the British House of Commons and 160 members of the House of Lords.
Former French Prime Minister Mrs. Edith Cresson, former Algerian Prime Minister Sid Ahmad Ghozali, and dozens of members of parliament from various European countries, North America and Australia spoke in support of the Third Option introduced by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi.
The full text inscribed on the plaque is as follows:

We salute your courageous and tireless leadership of the Iranian Resistance helping those demanding freedom and democracy. Iran will be free and become a beacon of democracy and a symbol of women’s equality
