“Maryam Rajavi: Freedom and victory is within reach”
“Down with the dictator, be it the Shah or the Leader (Khamenei)”
In a series of activities across the country, Resistance Units and Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK/PMOI) supporters emphasized the need to disband the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) given their role in the suppression of the Iranian people and the plunder of the country’s national wealth and assets. They wrote graffiti and posted banners and placards in different cities. They also posted pictures of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and excerpts from her speeches in various parts of cities across Iran.
They also wrote graffiti rejecting both the Shah and clerics dictatorship, displaying the people’s aspirations for a democratic republic based on people’s votes. These activities were carried out in Tehran Karaj, Isfahan, Rasht, Shahriar, Khorramabad, Kerman, Ahvaz, Shiraz, Mashhad, Hamedan, Dorud, and Lahijan, among others.
Some of the slogans that were posted or written in public places were: “The IRGC and regime’s Supreme Leader are responsible for crimes,” “Disbanding the Revolutionary Guards is a must for achieving victory for the Iranian people,” “For the Coronavirus to be contained the religious dictatorship must get lost.” “Democracy, freedom with Maryam Rajavi,” “Down with Khamenei,” “Down with Khamenei, long live freedom,” “Maryam Rajavi: Freedom and victory are within reach,” “The overthrow of the clerical regime is possible with the efforts of the Resistance Units,” “Neither the crown nor the turban, mullahs are on their last legs,” “Down with the dictator, be it the Shah or the Leader (Khamenei),” “Down with Khamenei, hail to Rajavi.”
