Maryam Rajavi: The ultimate solution to the regional crisis lies in the overthrow of the Velayat-e Faqih regime in Iran
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, welcomed the positions adopted by the Arab Islamic American Summit vis-à-vis the Iranian regime's conduct, which has undermined peace and stability in the Middle East region and the world. She emphasized in particular the statement regarding the need to confront the clerical regime's export of terrorism and fundamentalism, its ballistic missile program, its interference in the internal affairs of other countries, as well as its destructive regional and international role. She described the stances as indispensable to ending terrorism, war, and bloodshed, and restoring peace and tranquility.
IRGC terrorist designation & eviction from the region is needed for Middle East peace and tranquility
On April 22nd marking the 38th founding anniversary of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), General Mohammad Bagheri, chairman of Iran’s armed forces command, said the IRGC “acted as the ‘security shield’ of the Iranian nation and all the Muslim people through their presence in Syria and Iraq.”
The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns the vicious assassination of Saeed Karimian, the chairman of Gem TV and his colleague in Istanbul that was carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) on IRGC Day upon Khamenei’s order. The Iranian Resistance calls for the prosecution of the perpetrators and masterminds of this hideous crime, bringing them to justice, and blacklisting the IRGC.
Revolutionary Guard General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the clerical regime’s Armed Forces, once again acknowledged that the criminal intervention and the massacre of defenceless people of Syria and Iraq was the clerical regime's security shield. In his message to mark the anniversary of the founding of the Revolutionary Guards, he said: "Iranian Revolutionary Guards … with the support and cooperation of Islamic Resistance in Syria and Iraq have set themselves as ‘the security shield’ of the Iranian people and the whole Islamic Ummah (nation). Bagheri stressed: “The Revolutionary Guards...with Khamenei’s guidance” has boasted "the deterrence power" and "the defense power" of the clerical regime to the world beyond “Iran’s geography”. He added: As Khomeini said, "If the IRGC did not exist, the country would not have existed” (State-run media April 23, 2017). By “the country”, Khomeini and Khamenei mean the religious fascism ruling Iran. Khamenei had said earlier if we did not stop the enemy in Syria "we had to stop them in Tehran, Fars, Isfahan and Khorasan" (State run news media Januray 6, 2017).
Investigating the events before and after Bashar al-Assad’s chemical attack on the town of Khan Sheikhoun, clearly indicates that the goal of this attack was to support the operations of Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) in the northern province of Hama. Since the Free Syrian Army and the Syrian opposition began to advance in the north of Hama from March 21, 2017, and reached within three kilometers of the city of Hama, the IRGC dispatched its forces in Damascus and its suburbs with its highest ranking commanders to this area. Now these forces are present in the North and West of the city of Hama and around the town of Soran. These forces include battalions of the 19th Fajr Shiraz Division, battalions of the division known as Nabi Akram of Kermanshah, Saberine special battalions of Tehran province and Ninawa brigade forces in Golestan province.
Rouhani, President of the religious fascism ruling Iran on April 18 acknowledged that: “Figures show that in the eleventh government (Rouhani’s government) the budget of defense capability compared to the beginning of this government has had 145% growth and that means that in hard economic times, the government efforts were to further strengthen the country's armed forces. The eleventh government is proud to have taken steps in three and a half years, from the armed forces’ strategic equipment and facilities viewpoint, equal to ten years prior to it.” In a disgusting praise for Khamenei and repressive organs, he added: “The feature of our armed forces is that they have a commander in chief and this command is derived from Islam, Islamic jurisprudence, justice, and moderation.”
Khamenei told Rouhani to certainly register as a candidate: Iran’s Industry Minister
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani expressed his support over the phone for Syrian dictator Bashar Assad’s killing of this country’s people, claiming the Idlib chemical attack is “false and without evidence”, outrageously accusing the opposition for the attack.
