Iranians in Germany Rally in Support of Countrymen's Anti-Regime Protests – 29 Dec. 2017

NCRI - Iranians residing in Germany held protest rallies supporting their countrymen’s anti-regime protests. Iranians in Berlin held a protest outside the Iranian regime’s embassy in that city. Similar protests were held in Koln and Hamburg.

On Thursday, a large number of protesters took to the streets in the cities of Mashhad, Neyshabur, Kashmar and Birjand in northeast Iran, protesting unemployment, poverty and skyrocketing prices. Protesters were also seen chanting, "Death to Rouhani" and "Death to the Dictator," in reference to the regime's president and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, respectively.

 

Thousands of protesters took to the streets on Friday in number of cities in Iran to demonstrate against the clerical regime and price rises for the second day.

Protesters chanted 'Death to the dictator' and 'Not Gaza, not Lebanon, my life for Iran’.

In the city of Kermanshah (western Iran) protester chanted ‘Free Political Prisoners.’

In city of Shiraz (southern Iran) protesters shouted at the State Security Forces and told them ‘Go and arrest the thieves’ a reference to widespread corruptions in the country.

In southwestern Iran, in city of Khoramabad, protesters joined the nationwide call for today’s protest.

Similar protest was held in northern city of Rasht.
