Seven youngsters on death row in western Iran prisons

NCRI – The identities of seven juvenile offenders currently on death row in Iran have been revealed.

All of them were sentenced to death while they were minors and some are still under 18 now, according to information received from inside Iran.

The mullahs’ regime routinely keeps death-row juvenile offenders in prison until they turn 18 and then executes them.

 

In the Central Prison of Saqqez, north-west Iran:

Ra’ouf Hassani (born on January 27, 1997) -aged 19
• Arrested on August 8, 2013 – aged 16
• Charge unknown.
• Sentenced to death in April 2015 – aged 18

Nasser Khezri (born in September 1998) -aged 17
• Arrested November 2014 – aged 16
• Charge unknown.
• Sentenced to death on July 20, 2016 – aged 17
• File has been sent to the Supreme Court for final ruling

Azad Mohammadzadeh (born on July 13, 1997) – aged 19
• Arrested March 2013 – aged 15
• Charge unknown.
• Sentenced to death in October 2015 – aged 18

In the Central Prison of Sanandaj, western Iran:

Yadollah Rahimzadeh (born on November 10, 1997)- aged 18
• Arrested April 2014 – aged 16
• Charge unknown
• Sentenced to death on July 16, 2016 – aged 18
• Before his arrest, Rahimzadeh worked as a child laborer

In the Prison of Miandoab, north-west Iran:

Khaled Rassouli (born on September 20, 1995) – aged 20
• Arrested September 2011 – aged 15
• Charge unknown
• Sentenced to death in January 2015 – aged 19

In Bukan Prison, north-west Iran:

Saleh Teymouri (born on May 8, 1996) – aged 20
• Arrested September 2011 – aged 15
• Charge unknown
• Sentenced to death on July 12, 2014 – aged 18

As’ad Rasoul-Nejad (born on October 7, 1996) – aged 19
• Arrested on April 5, 2012 – aged 15
• Charge unknown
• Sentenced to death in 2015 aged 18
