Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll Reaches 1,200
Khamenei shamelessly claims Corona outbreak not a big deal, claims his regime has been transparent in informing the public since day one!
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI /MEK) announced on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, that as of 8:00 pm local time, the death toll nationwide from Coronavirus had exceeded 1,200 lives.
Reports indicate 300 victims in Qom, 215 in Tehran, 70 in Rasht, 12 in Lahijan, 6 in Astaneh, 60 in Mashhad, 43 in Isfahan, 23 in Kashan, 10 in Dastgerd, 54 in Gorgan, 45 in Arak, 45 in Kermanshah, 38 in Shiraz, 39 in Karaj, 23 in Khorramabad, 20 in Qazvin, 10 in Zahedan, 16 in Iranshahr, 12 in Boushehr, and more than 100 in Mazandaran province have lost their lives.

Khamenei dismisses Coronavirus as not that big a deal, even calls it a blessing!
While more than 1,000 people have died to the coronavirus in Iran, and while in shocking revelation, the Iranian regime’s Deputy Health Minister Ghasem Janbabaei acknowledged in an interview with state TV that over 12,000 people have been hospitalized after being diagnosed with the coronavirus and this is only 20 percent of the individuals who have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, the regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei dismisses Coronavirus as “not that big a deal”, even calls it a “blessing”.

In a shocking confession, Masoud Pezeshkian, regime’s deputy speaker of the parliament, declared that the government’s statistics of the people diagnosed with the Coronavirus in Iran are “Not the actual numbers.”
Pezeshkian, who served as the Minister of Health of the regime’s former president Mohammad Khatami, in an interview with the state-run Ensaf-News news agency on Tuesday said: The statistics [of those diagnosed with the COVID-19] announced by the Ministry of Health are not the statistics of all of those diagnosed with this virus.”

Number of coronavirus victims in Iran are 20-fold higher than official numbers
Many reports from various prisons across the country indicate the coronavirus spreading to the Greater Tehran Prison in the Iranian capital, and the prisons of Gohardasht, Ghezel Hesar, Markazi (Central), Karaj, Urmia, Sheyban in Ahvaz and Kashan.

Political prisoner Amir Hossein Moradi, arrested during the November 2019 uprising and recently sentenced to death, is among the inmates now infected with the coronavirus. Two political prisoners in Sheyban prison of Ahvaz are diagnosed with the coronavirus and have been transferred to the facility’s quarantine section. There are no new reports of their conditions or whereabouts.
