Hollow Promises of the Iran Regime to the Wheat Farmers

NCRI - After more than a month of wheat harvest, government authorities evade paying the money to the wheat farmers.

A state-run website called Bayanerooz on June 9 2017 writes about Rouhani's hollow promises, "The president always promises jam tomorrow. He did not achieve positive results in the 4 years of presidency. He only prioritizes measures in times of election."

Iran's Iron Ore Exports Comes to a Halt

NCRI - Iran’s state media reported iron ore exports have come to a halt due to increasing shipping fees.

“With the increasing rise of sea shipment prices and discounts enjoyed by Forteskio and India companies for below 58% iron ore, such exports have been halted,” said Keivan Tehrani, head of the Iron Ore Producers and Exporters Association to the semi-official Tasnim news agency.

Iran's Recession and Unemployment to Stay

NCRI - According to former head of Tehran Economics University, the real unemployment rate is several times higher than officially announced and it’s not going to decrease in the near future. Earlier, regime’s labor minister had also announced that the country’s unemployment rate would not decrease in the next few years.

Earlier this year, regime’s Statistics Center announced in its detailed 2016 job market report that the country’s number of unemployed were three millions.

More Than 90% of Iran's Metal Ore Mines Are Shut Down

NCRI - Of the 145 small and medium size active metal ore mines in 2013, only nine remain active, according to the vice president of the Mine Ore Importers/Exporters Association.

“Around 8,000 were employed in the metal ore extraction branch, and their closure has led to at least 5,000 workers becoming unemployed,” according to Iran’s state-run TV/Radio in its interview with Bahram Shakuri.

Rival Factions Within Iranian Regime Clash Over Economic Deadlock

NCRI - New US sanctions and an economic deadlock due to financial sanctions and increased regional isolation have intensified the conflicts between regime’s rival bands as well as the attacks made by Khamenei’s guys on Rouhani, particularly following the recent presidential election show.

Addressing Rouhani in this regard, Iranian regime’s MP ‘Mohammad Bagheri’ said “Mr. President! You promised to lift non-nuclear sanctions. Forget about previous sanctions; prevent the new ones through diplomacy.”

Iran State Media Acknowledge Global & Regional Isolation

NCRI - As the faction loyal to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei continues its lashing at regime’s President Hassan Rouhani and his camp over increasing sanctions against the regime, state-run media are acknowledging how Tehran is immersed in mounting isolation and crisis.

Vatan-e Emrooz daily in its May 31st edition referred to three rounds of sanctions, describing US Senate Resolution 722 as a complete and special sanctioning of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC). The revenue related to Iran’s petrochemical sales in China have been blocked and bank accounts related to Turkey’s Hulk Bank are frozen.
