• U.S. intel cites, Iran as “aggressive” perpetrator of cyber espionage

In the latest of a series of intensifying warnings about cyber threats issued by the U.S. intelligence community, a new report says that China, Russia and Iran stand out as the three most hostile foreign actors to engage in economic espionage and in stealing proprietary secrets from American companies and corporations, noting that emerging technologies could expose some companies to previously unknown threats.

“We anticipate that China, Russia and Iran will remain aggressive and capable collectors of sensitive U.S. economic information and technologies, particularly in cyberspace,” said the report, which was issued by the National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC) and compiled with input from more than a dozen intelligence agencies.

• Iranian Embassy spying on opponents, German Intel says

July 26, 2018 – The Iranian regime is using its Berlin embassy to spy on the Iranian opposition, according to a report issued by Germany’s domestic intelligence service (BfV). The regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and its foreign operations arm, the Quds Force, are also active in Germany, the BfV annual report adds.

This report, made public by German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer, comes only a few weeks after Berlin arrested a Vienna-based Iranian diplomat, charging him with terrorism and providing orders to an Iranian-Belgian couple to target the Iranian opposition “Free Iran 2018” convention in Paris through a dangerous bomb plot.

• Truck drivers’ nationwide strike continues for 4th day

July 26, 2018 – Truckers across Iran are continuing their widespread strike on Thursday for the fourth consecutive day. This includes drivers in the city of Mashhad, Ahvaz, Karaj, Farrokhshahr, Miandoab and Shahr-e Kord, among others.
The Iranian Resistance hails the truck drivers’ nationwide strike and calls on the general public to rise in support.

The new round of the truck drivers’ strike is witnessing at least 85 cities in 25 provinces joining this cross-country movement.

• Plundered Victims of International Tourism Development Company Protest In Front Of Administrative Justice Court In Tehran

On Wednesday, July 25, 2018, a large number of plundered victims of Padideh Shandiz International Tourism Development Company gathered in front of the Administrative Justice Court in Tehran, Iran in protest to the looting of their property by the institute.

In the protest rally, a number of protesters were arrested by the police.

• Sufi women, Elham Ahmadi, Sedigheh Safabakht to serve 5 years in jail

Sufi women, Elham Ahmadi and Sedigheh Safabakht, have been sentenced each to five years in jail by Tehran’s Revolutionary Court. They were arrested during the bloody crackdown on the protest gathering of Gonabadi Dervishes in Tehran on February 20, 2018.

In addition, the court imposed a two-year ban on Elham Ahmadi preventing her from engaging in social activities and from leaving the country. Sedigheh Safabakht was also deprived for two years of activities with or membership in political parties or social groups, as well as activity in the social media.
