Conference in the Senate of Italy, Call for Justice Over the 1988 Massacre of Political Prisoners in Iran

NCRI - A conference was held in the Senate of Italy titled “Justice for the Massacre of 30,000 political prisoners and more than 80 women executed since the Iran regime’s president, Hassan Rouhani is in office.” At the conference, speakers called for the prosecution of perpetrators of the 1988 massacre for committing crimes against humanity.

The Silence of EU's Foreign Policy Chief Over Iran Regime's Violation of Human Rights Is Extremely Damaging for the Reputation of Europe

NCRI - On Tuesday 17 October 2017, the Belgian Committee of Parliamentarians and Mayors for a Democratic Iran, held a meeting in the Belgian Federal Parliament on the situation of human rights in Iran.

Several members of parliament and senators from different political parties spoke in this meeting which was chaired by Ms Els Van Hoof, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Belgian Parliament from the Christian Democratic Party.

Italian Parliament's Call, for Establishment of an Independent International Committee to Investigate the 1988 Massacre in Iran

NCRI - The seventy second session of the U.N. General Assembly, will review the Human Rights situation in couple of countries including Iran according to its agenda.

The Canadian government supported by U.S .and an EU country، have already prepared a draft for a resolution on the situation of the Human Rights in Iran.

On this occasion a number of Italian parliamentarians, in a call condemned the catastrophic situation of human rights in Iran and the increase of executions, they also called for the establishment of an independent investigation committee for the 1988 massacre of 30000 political prisoners in Iran.

Iran: Student Pounded and Arrested for Criticizing IRGC 's Meddling in the Region

NCRI - According to reports, from the city of Sanandaj (Western Iran), a student was pounded and arrested on October 16, 2017 by Revolutionary Guards ( IRGC) forces.

The student who is called Mostafa Zahednia has been talking about Iran regime's regional policies and meddling of the IRGC in Iraqi Kurdistan autonomous region's recent events.

Stop Ignoring Iran's Human Rights Violations, Pleads Expert

NCRI - We must stop the international silence over the Iranian Regime’s egregious human rights violations and hold the mullah’s responsible for their crimes against humanity, according to a human rights expert.

Tahar Boumedra, who works with the nongovernmental organization Justice for the Victims of the 1988 Massacre in Iran, wrote an op-ed for The Hill in which he implored the international community to take the human rights violations of the Iranian Regime seriously.

In the city of Dezful in southwestern Iran, a convert to Christianity has been arrested. This information was provided by an Iranian Christian rights advocate group.
