Iran’s Regime Executed 3 Other Prisoners

The Iranian regime authorities hanged two prisoners on Tuesday in Khoramabad, Lorestan province. In addition, another prisoner was executed on December 18 in Adilabad prison in Shiraz.

The inmates executed on Tuesday are identified as Hassan Mirkarami and Ardavan Falahvand. They had endured 8 years in prison. The individual executed in Shiraz is identified as Hadi Shahriyari. He was executed on charges of “Waging war on God,” a term the regime uses to describe dissidents.

Iran: Khamenei’s Representative Expresses Fear of Uprisings

On Friday, Jalil Sharifinia, the Friday Prayer leader of Aradan, expressed fear of people’s uprising. He acknowledged that during the 2009 uprising, people “did not care about the [sham] elections, they had targeted the entire [regime].”

“In recent days in Isfahan, we witnessed that those arrested by the security forces were not farmers. They had come from outside of the country or from other provinces. They were paid to pretend to be farmers and clashed with security forces,” he added, referring to the recent uprising in Isfahan by farmers and locals due to the water crisis.

Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll Surpasses 491,700

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Friday afternoon, December 23, 2021, that the COVID-19 death toll in 547 cities has surpassed 491,700. In Tehran, the death toll has reached 115,080, Khorasan Razavi 39,745, Isfahan 33,900, Khuzestan 29,745, East Azerbaijan 16,973, Alborz 14,388, Kerman 13,217, Kermanshah 9,179, Hamedan 9,118, Zanjan 4,685, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 3,709.
