Ship Tied to Regime’s SNSC Senior Official Seized by India

A cargo ship that belongs to the Admiral Shipping Company, owned by the sons of the Iranian regime’s secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani, was seized at an Indian port.

India has resumed the seizure of ships and cargo originating or destined to Iran, the state-run ILNA news agency reported on Friday. Ten days ago, an Indian court ordered the seizure of a ship and its cargo on charges of possessing false documents, and the ship has been kept in the Indian port of Kandla. The ship was also carrying the flag of another country.

In recent years, the economic activities of Shamkhani’s offspring as well as his brother and son-in-law have been widely criticized and made headlines in Iran.

Saudi-led Coalition Destroys Explosives-laden Houthi Boat in Red Sea -State TV

DUBAI, Feb 18 (Reuters) – The Saudi-led coalition fighting Iran-aligned Houthi forces in Yemen said it had destroyed a small Houthi boat in the south of the Red Sea that was loaded with explosives, Saudi state television reported on Friday.

The coalition added that the boat had departed Yemen’s main Red Sea port of Hodeidah.

Statement by NSC Spokesperson Emily Horne on Middle East and North Africa Coordinator McGurk’s Travel to Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates

Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa Brett McGurk traveled this week to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to ensure the United States is doing everything possible to support the territorial defense of both countries against Iranian-enabled missile and UAV attacks. Mr. McGurk reaffirmed the President’s commitment to supporting the defense of U.S. partners, reviewed ongoing efforts with our diplomatic and military teams in both capitals, and discussed the need to combine pressure on the Houthis in Yemen with a concerted UN-led effort to end the war there. In Saudi Arabia, State Department Special Envoy for Energy Affairs Amos Hochstein joined Mr. McGurk to discuss a collaborative approach to managing potential market pressures stemming from a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Iran 2022: Resistance Units Take Major Strides

In view of the state of absolute repression and the use of brute force in dealing with any form of opposition, could Iran’s ruling religious dictatorship be overthrown? The regime celebrated the anniversary of the anti-monarchical revolution in February at a time when after ruling for 43 years with an iron fist, it is facing crises from all directions, most notably at home.

One of the regime’s greatest problems is the growing activities of Resistance Units, the network of activists supporting the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). The Resistance Units, which have been expanding across Iran in the past years, have played a major role in maintaining the momentum of rebellion across Iran and preventing the regime from establishing an environment of fear and suppression.

Courage Iranian Women Who Mother Poor Children

A group of mothers of the martyred protestors during the November 2019 uprising started a humanitarian campaign, preparing and packaging food for poor children and victims of child labor in Iran.

At their gathering, the mother of Reza Moazami Goodarzi, a 19-year-old who was killed by the Iranian regime security forces, expressed their determination to seek justice for their sons and daughters said that she was confident that the blood of all November 2019 victims would be avenged.

Another Execution Reported in Central Iran

The Iranian regime’s Judiciary executed a prisoner in Dastgerd prison in Isfahan at dawn on Wednesday, February 16. The prisoner was identified as Kazem Yousefi who was about 40 years old. Kazem was previously held in Khomeini Shahr Prison and was transferred to Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan 15 days before his execution.


Security Forces Shot Another Freight Carrier in West Iran

The state security forces in Baneh, Kurdistan Province, shot and wounded a deprived freight carrier, on Wednesday, February 16. The poor ‘kulbar’ was identified as Saadi Zini who lives in Baneh. Security forces started to aim and shoot at him without previous warning. Saadi was transferred to a medical center in Baneh city for medical treatment.

Victims of the Iranian regime’s corruption, unemployment, and systemic discrimination, ‘kulbars’ are porters who haul goods on their back across the borders of Iran over long distances to be able to feed their families.
