According to the Judiciary-run news agency Mizan, the Iranian regime’s deputy for international affairs and human rights, Kazem Gharibabadi said: “Sweden has become a hub in Europe to direct terrorist activities against Iran… Some members of the terrorist group of the hypocrites (the regime’s acronym for the MEK) are also present in this country and lead their terrorist activities against Iran from this country. Allocating a budget of tens of millions of euros, the Swedish government has handed over its judicial system to the hypocrites.”

Gharibabadi who represents a regime with one of the worst human rights records in the world told the Swedish government to stop supporting what he called “terrorist groups”, to “cut ties with the MEK”, to “maintain the independence and professionalism in its judiciary”, to “respect the human rights of individuals” and ” to put an end to this fake show against Iran”.

Iran Plots to Murder John Bolton, Yet Biden’s Handlers Won’t Indict the Suspects

pj-media-logo-vector

The Iranian mullahs are nothing if not vindictive: the Washington Examiner revealed Monday that “at least two Iranians belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards’ covert-action Quds Force have been plotting to assassinate former national security adviser John Bolton, according to a Justice Department official with direct knowledge of the investigation.” Yes, John Bolton, who flounced out of the Trump administration in a righteous rage in 2019 and hasn’t been in a position of power or influence since. And yes, now, even as Biden’s handlers are prepared to give the Iranian regime everything it wants and more in Vienna, in a new nuke deal. And that’s why those who are responsible for this plot are not being called out: the Biden administration doesn’t want to do anything to offend the Iranians and prevent the nuke deal from being sealed.

iran-international-image

Sweden on March 10 deported back to Iran two alleged Iranian agents who were arrested for links to a terrorist plot, instead of putting them on trial.

According to documents seen by Iran International, the real identity of the two suspects were Fereshteh Sanai-Fari (female) and Mehdi Ramezani (male), who had entered Sweden with fake names of Salma Khormai and Javad Malekshahi, respectively.

The two, who entered Sweden in 2015 as refugees during the great refugee flood to Europe, without any documents, had claimed they were from Afghanistan and lied about their age.

France, UK, Germany Say Iran Deal Could Collapse on Russian Demands

Reuters-Logo-e1606758477848

PARIS, March 12 (Reuters) – France, Britain and Germany warned Russia on Saturday that its demands to have its trade guaranteed with Iran risked the collapse of an almost-completed nuclear deal.

Negotiators have reached the final stages of discussions to restore the so-called JCPOA deal, which lifted sanctions on Iran in return for curbs on its nuclear programme, long seen by the West as a cover for developing atomic bombs.

State Media in Iran Mirror the Regime’s Factional Infighting Over Nuclear Deadlock

iran-state-run-media-admit-to-regimes-inhumane-covid-19-policy

Regarding the regime’s demands in the nuclear talks, state-run newspaper Kayhan quoted an informed source as saying: “The main issue in the Vienna talks are the sanctions against individuals, companies, and institutions that play an effective role in Iran’s economic interests in the case that any deal is struck.”

The daily added: “Since the beginning of the negotiations, we have demanded the removal of these individuals, institutions, and companies from the so-called red list, and the American side has repeatedly used this tactic to either postpone or delay it and tie them to issues beyond the JCPOA.”

The state-run newspaper Arman wrote on March 12: “It seems that the principalists (the ruling faction) are opposed to insisting on a set of principles in the JCPOA and they prefer to strengthen their hand through the development of nuclear scientific advances as well as other means to reinforce defensive conditions and keep them active rather than to reach an agreement.”

“The time for an agreement could have been very positive because the world increasingly needs and cares about Iran’s oil and gas, although it is not irreplaceable,” the daily added, revealing the regime’s appetite to exploit the current global crisis.

The state-run Jahan-e-Sanat newspaper also wrote: “The interruption in the talks is due to our excessive expectations because we have not yet been able to satisfy domestic circles so that all sanctions could be lifted.”

“One of the serious challenges in these negotiations, which may play a role in the outcome, is insisting on removing the IRGC from the list of terrorist organizations, the daily quoted Fereydoun Majlesi, a state-affiliated analyst as saying. “Removing the IRGC from the FTO list requires the IRGC to waive the threat of destroying Israel, and this is impossible, and Iran will not change its policy in this regard.”

He warned: “But this is not in the interest of the system at all. The current economic and livelihood pressures have overwhelmed the people, and this is not good news at all.”

Missiles From Iran Struck in Vicinity of U.S. Consulate in Northern Iraq, Officials Say

wall-street-journal-logo-300A missile strike early Sunday that landed in the vicinity of a new American consulate under construction in northern Iraq originated from Iran, according to U.S. officials.

The attack comes as the U.S. is edging closer to cementing a deal to revive the 2015 agreement with Tehran that constrains Iran’s nuclear program.

The compound wasn’t hit and no U.S. personnel were hurt, said U.S. officials. They added that they weren’t sure what was being targeted and that the attack was still under investigation. The U.S. has a consulate inside Erbil, the capital of the semiautonomous Kurdish region in Iraq, and is building a new one 8 miles from the center of the city.
