240 Cross-party Lawmakers from 19 European Countries Urge their Governments to Protect Europe from Iran’s State Terrorism
48 members of the House of Commons and the House of Lords took the lead in the initiative
The International Committee of Parliamentarians for a Democratic Iran and the British Committee for Iran Freedom (BCFIF) issued a statement urging the UK and EU member states to reconsider their policy on Iran and do more to protect Europe from Iran’s state terrorism following the trial of an Iranian diplomat in Belgium on charges of terrorism last week.
The first session of the hearing was held on Friday 27 November 2020, during which the prosecutor presented his case against the four defendants including an Iranian regime’s diplomat. They are charged with plot to bomb the Free Iran gathering on 30 June 2018, in Villepinte, in the suburb of Paris. Several British Parliamentarians were also attending the international event. 240 lawmakers from 19 different European countries support the statement.

Iran’s Economy Suffers from Fraud and Hollow Foreign Investments
Iranian Economy Minister Farhad Dejpasand resorted to false statistics about foreign investments to portray a rosy image of Iran’s economy. This is while the government has failed in attracting new foreign investments. Furthermore, the remaining amount has drained, thanks to the sanctions and international isolation. However, Dejpasand frequently brags about new investments and claims this flow continues.
In its Sixth Development Plan, the government has estimated to earn about $65 billion in foreign funding and $30 billion in foreign investment. However, the estimation remained on the Sixth Plan’s papers.

Iran: Coronavirus Fatalities in 465 Cities Exceeds 173,100
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Monday, November 30, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 465 cities had exceeded 173,100. The number of victims in Tehran is 42661, Khorasan Razavi 12,235, Isfahan 9,890, Lorestan 7,095, Qom 6,910, East Azerbaijan 6,873, Mazandaran 6,642, West Azerbaijan 6,405, Fars 4,947, Alborz 4,620, Sistan and Baluchestan 4,391, Golestan 4,317, Kermanshah 3,716, Kerman 3,459, Central Province 3,443, Yazd 3,052, Kurdistan 3,026, Qazvin 1,764, and Zanjan 1,742.

Sadly, Ramesh (Azar Mohebbi Tehrani), a famous Iranian artist and singer, who had many fans in Iran for several generations, passed away in Los Angeles on November 30. Her voice that evokes memories for the Iranian people, especially in the 60s and 70s, is silenced.

Zeinab Jalalian pressured to express remorse, cooperate with MOIS
Zeinab Jalalian is under psychological pressure to express remorse and cooperate with the Ministry of Intelligence. Zeinab Jalalian was transferred to the quarantine ward of Yazd Prison in mid-November, for the fourth time in six months. Since then she has been allowed to call her family only once, in order to put pressure on her to cooperate with the Intelligence Ministry.
A source close to Zeinab Jalalian said: “Since being detained in Yazd Prison, she has had only one brief telephone call with her family. She told her family that prison security had told her that so long as she would not express remorse and collaborate with interrogators, she would be deprived of all rights of a prisoner.”
