Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 475 Cities Exceeds 192,200
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Saturday, December 26, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 475 cities had exceeded 192,200. The number of victims in Tehran is 47,196, Khorasan Razavi 13,135, Isfahan 11,560, Lorestan 7,738, Qom 7,530, East Azerbaijan 7,432, Mazandaran 7,187, Fars 5,887, Alborz 5,055, Kerman 4,116, Yazd 3,407, North Khorasan 2,963, Hormozgan 2,030, Qazvin 1,992, and South Khorasan 1,796.

Political prisoners Shaker Behrouz faces a second death sentence
A second death sentence has been issued for political prisoner Shaker Behrouz based on a new cased filed against him. Mr. Behrouzi is presently detained in the Central Prison of Urmia.
The First Branch of the Penal Court of Urmia issued the second death sentence on Saturday, December 26, for political prisoner Shaker Behrouzi on the charge of murdering Mamel Mohammadi, an IRGC member.

Baluchi political prisoner Abdolhamid Mir-Baluchzehi hanged in Zahedan Prison
Baluchi political prisoner Abdolhamid Mir-Baluchzehi was hanged Saturday morning, December 26, 2020, in the Prison of Zahedan.
His lawyer, Mostafa Neili, announced the news of his execution in his twitter account.
An informed source said: “Authorities of the Central Prison of Zahedan contacted Hamid’s family on Thursday, December 24, for a last visit with him. After having their last visitation, Hamid’s family said his execution verdict was going to be implemented on Saturday, December 26, and this morning, his execution was carried out.
In addition to Abdol-Hamid Mir-Baluchzehi, 2 other prisoners were also executed in the morning of December 26, in the Central Prison of Zahedan, SE Iran.

“Rise and overthrow the mullahs’ regime”: Iranian Resistance Units
During 2020, as Iran continued to grapple with the coronavirus outbreak, the struggle for freedom continued across the country.
In recent days, the Resistance Units, the network of the Iranian opposition movement inside Iran continued to campaign for regime change, despite an atmosphere of repression. The Resistance Units are a network of activists affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), Iran’s longest-standing opposition movement.
In Tehran, the Iranian Resistance Units installed a huge poster of Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), on a lamp post in a crowded street. In Mashhad, images of the Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi was spread across the cities while echoing the slogan, “Rise and overthrow the mullahs’ regime.”
