Iran Smuggled $1B to Hezbollah this Year Despite US Sanctions, Treasury Official Says

The Iranian regime has managed to smuggle at least $1 billion to its terrorist proxy Hezbollah in Lebanon despite heavy sanctions this year, top officials at the U.S. Treasury Department say.
John Hurley, the undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence, says Iran remains committed to its proxy groups throughout the Middle East. Nevertheless, he says there is an opportunity to cut off the funding streams while Iran is in its current weakened state.
“There’s a moment in Lebanon now. If we could get Hezbollah to disarm, the Lebanese people could get their country back,” Hurley said.

PMOI Resistance Units Defy Execution Wave, Commemorating Iran’s 2019 Uprising with a Vow for a Democratic Republic
On the cusp of the sixth anniversary of the November 2019 uprising, the Iranian regime has unleashed an unprecedented wave of executions, a brutal campaign designed to terrorize the public and stifle any hint of dissent. Yet, far from being cowed, the spirit of that uprising is burning brighter than ever. In cities like Zahedan, PMOI Resistance Units are taking to the streets, their actions sending a clear and defiant message: the regime’s machinery of fear is failing. Their commemoration of the 2019 martyrs is not just an act of remembrance but a renewed pledge to overthrow the theocracy and reject all forms of dictatorship in favor of a free, democratic republic.
Zeinab Jalalian Is in Critical Condition after Surgery in Yazd Prison
Zeinab Jalalian, a Kurdish political prisoner and the only woman in Iran serving a life sentence for political reasons, is reportedly in critical health condition at Yazd Central Prison. Zeinab Jalalian, who recently underwent surgery for uterine fibroids, was forcibly returned to prison just 24 hours after the operation, against explicit medical advice and without completing her post-surgical recovery period. For years, Jalalian has suffered from internal bleeding, kidney complications, and chronic pain. In July 2024, despite experiencing severe pain, she was only taken to the prison infirmary, where she received painkillers instead of being examined by a specialist. Following her recent surgery, her condition has further deteriorated due to the lack of medical care, poor nutrition, and unhygienic conditions inside the prison.

Iranian Regime President Issues Belated Water Shortage Warning—The Reality Is Even More Terrifying
The head of Iran’s Water Industry Federation emphasized that Tehran’s water situation is worsening exponentially, warning that the capital’s water condition is “more concerning” than Iranian regime president Masoud Pezeshkian’s recent remarks about the need to evacuate Tehran and “more terrifying” than official statistics indicate. Reza Haji Karim, in an interview with the state-run Didban Iran website published on Saturday, November 8, said: “The reality is that Tehran’s water situation is as bad and even more alarming than what the president warned about.”
Iran’s Regime Approves Three-Tier Gasoline Plan Amid Soaring Inflation and Public Anger
Masoud Pezeshkian’s so-called “economic reform” deepens inequality as fuel prices rise up to 5,500 tomans, sparking fears of new nationwide unrest. In a move widely seen as another blow to Iran’s struggling population, the leaders of the regime’s three branches of power have approved a “three-tier gasoline pricing plan”, a policy the government of Masoud Pezeshkian calls an “economic reform” but which critics say is nothing more than a new mechanism to squeeze the poor and reproduce Iran’s chronic livelihood crisis. According to Hossein Samsami, a member of the regime’s parliamentary Economic Commission and an economics professor at Beheshti University, the meeting approved an increase in fuel prices up to 5,000 tomans per liter. Writing on the social platform X, Samsami mocked the government’s reasoning, saying, “If multiple pricing causes corruption, why do you keep adding new rates?”
