The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Monday, October 5, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 450 cities had exceeded 116,500. The number of victims in Tehran is 27,591, Khorasan Razavi 8,724, Khuzestan 7,508, Isfahan 5,914, Lorestan 5,188, East Azerbaijan 4,023, Golestan 3,337, Hamedan 3,098, West Azerbaijan 3,042, Semnan 1,731, Yazd 1,566, Qazvin 1,079, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 885, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 824.

One of the methods used by the Iranian regime to pursue its demonization campaign against the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK) has been to publish books presenting a false narrative. The Iranian regime’s oppressive institutions, such as the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) and the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), are involved in publications of books and reports against the MEK. While no one can find books by the MEK in libraries across Iran, there are plenty of books by the regime that demonizes the MEK.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Tuesday, October 6, 2020, marks the 325th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
