NCRI – The workers and employees of Mashhad Telecom – Northeastern Iran, organized a two-day strike on June 22, 2017.

According to the reports, none of the regime’s agents responded to the demands of these protesters at Telecom and they are not yet recognized as permanent Forces whereas the workers and employees have worked for this company for more than 20 years.

The protest began since the employers persecuted the workers’ representative for 3 months by displacing him in various places and finally, he was sacked on June 15.Following this incident, the follow-ups of his colleagues did not result eventually.

According to the report, the staffs of Mashhad Telecom have lodged the protest for two days in front of the Central Telecommunication Company of Razavi Khorasan Province. Except for Telecom operators and a few disciplinary forces who aimed to scare away the crowd, nobody intended to attend the rally and meet the demands of protesters.
