Infighting over a greater share of power has left 5 injured.

Based on reports from the regime’s media outlets, the infighting over who will have a greater share of power in the upcoming “parliamentary election” led to 5 of the Basiji thugs injured during an attack by rivals to their office, on the first day of their one week campaign before the “election”. The attackers had used knives and had injured 5 who were working at the rival’s office, while 2 were transferred to a hospital.

Similar cases of infighting and even using live ammunition have been reported in other areas, such as in Pol-Dokhtar in West Iran.

PEOPLE ATTACK A MEMBER OF THE IRANIAN REGIME’S PARLIAMENT WITH SNOWBALLS

On Wednesday, February 12th, 2020, a group of people held a protest gathering before the Power Dept.’s building in Lahijan, (a major city in Northern Iran) objecting to the regime’s inaction.

A citizen protesting the unbearable conditions due to the heavy snow and low temperatures, complained: “there are no sufficient facilities in Lahijan and Rasht, (the capital of Gilan). There is not enough water and electricity here.”

On Thursday, February 13th, 2020, a group of farmers in South-Roudbar, Southern Province of Kerman, held a gathering before the governorate building, protesting the high cost of producing their crops and lack of any support from the local government.
