NCRI – Ghasem Ahmadi, a member of Iranian regime’s Parliament, has confessed to parts of corruption in Iran under the rule of the Mullahs.

In his Parliamentary speech on Sunday October 16, Ahmadi said: “during the past few days, I read a book on the dimensions of corruption in Iran; I cried. I’m going to read some short parts of this 160-page book, quoted from Tadbir Eghtesad Institution. Friends! Please take a listen. This is only the corruption related to banks:

  • embezzlement of two 1875000 Dollars in Bank Saderat
  • embezzlement of 38000000 Dollars in Bank Saderat, Tajrish branch
  • embezzlement of 400 thousand Dollars in Bank Tejarat
  • embezzlement of 12 million Dollars by the head of … Bank, Paris branch .
  • embezzlement of 7.5 million Dollars in a firm belonging to ‘Bank Melli Iran’ in Dubai
  • embezzlement of 16 million Dollars carried out simultaneously by three banks, namely Saderat, Sepah and Mellat Banks

Yes, these issues and a failure to seriously deal with the perpetrators has given rise to the likes of Shahram Jazayeri, Khavari, Babak Zanjani, (billionaires convicted of fraud).

This corruption is aimed at the rights of noble teachers and educators who unfortunately have been largely neglected by officials. The Teachers Reserve Fund with 900,000 members has lost several thousand billions of its money and is currently in a sick state.

Bank Sarmayeh has lost about 1,500 billion Tomans in 2015 alone. This bank has changed its CEO six times in two years which might be a cover-up for their violations.

Moallem Insurance, which is inactive these days, has only 20 consultants who are being paid. Meanwhile, someone in there has 3,900 billion Tomans in bank debt; that’s 90 percent of banking facilities for only 30 persons.”

It should be pointed out that Ahmad Tavakkoli, former member of the Regime’s Parliament also expressed concerns over systematic corruption and collapse of the system. In an interview with regime’s TV, Tavakkoli said: “unless we fight corruption, it will definitely overthrow the Islamic Republic. And it’s not just the Islamic Republic for that matter, any government would be overthrown if corrupted. Currently, we are at a systematic corruption stage.”
