NCRI Staff

NCRI - The Iranian Regime has reportedly drawn a red line on anyone discussing the events of 1988, in which 30,000 political prisoners were executed in a summer of blood on the orders of then-Supreme Leader Ruhollah Khomeini.

As such, we must not stop talking about it. We cannot forget or allow others to forget about the massacre that wiped out tens of thousands of people in just a few short months for no other reason than supporting the People’s Mojahedin of Iran/Mujahedin-e Khalq (PMOI/MEK).

Nevertheless, just as countless Iranians use virtual proxy networks to evade restrictions on the government and social media, millions of Iranian households also use satellite equipment to tune into banned television networks. Many even go so far as to re-acquire the necessary equipment after it has been confiscated by regime authorities in large-scale crackdowns.
