Iran: Workers go on strike in Bushehr

NCRI – More than 1000 workers of Iran Marine Industrial Company in Bushehr went on strike.

They protested non-payment of wages for three months. The strike began on Tuesday, April 30. Despite harsh pressures imposed by regime’s agents to end the strike, workers have still continued with the strike.

“Iran Marine Industrial Company” was founded in 1968 as a small ship repair yard in Bushehr.

Since then, SADRA has established itself as the leading shipbuilding and shiprepairing company in Iran.

SADRA is also active in offshore oil & gas development.
