Iraq: Anti-Maliki protesters condemn his obedience to mullahs in Iran

NCRI – Thousands of Iraqis have continued to protest in Fallujah and other Iraqi cities against Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki on Friday, news agencies reported.

Protesters after Friday prayers in the province of al-Anbar demanded the release of prisoners and an end to the sectarian policies by al-Maliki.

Echoing slogans used in popular revolts that brought down leaders in Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia and Yemen, protesters have also called on Maliki to step down.

Protesters also shouted “Baghdad, free, free! Iran, go away!”, condemning him for his obedience to mullahs in Iran.
