Iran: Coronavirus Update, Over 33,400 Deaths, April 21, 2020, 6:00 PM

NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF APRIL 21, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, April 21, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 33,400 in 294 cities across Iran.

The death toll in various provinces include: 5,690 in Tehran, 3050 in Qom, 2,620 in Razavi Khorasan, 2470 in Gilan, 2235 in Isfahan, 2190 in Mazandaran, 1318 in Eastern Azerbaijan, 1050 in Western Azerbaijan, 465 in Zanjan, 395 in Sistan and Baluchestan. This is in addition to cases registered in other provinces.

Iran– Navy Commander Hossein Khanzadi admits to the importance of nuclear programs

On April 16, Iran’s Navy Commander Hossein Khanzadi admitted the importance of nuclear programs for the government. He also highlighted that the government’s nuclear activities are under the supreme leader Ali Khamenei’s supervision.
“The Islamic Republic’s position toward nuclear energy is clear and transparent and the supreme leader Ali Khamenei frequently insisted on it. The nuclear programs’ officials and the authorities all know the framework and take steps in this framework,” Khanzadi said.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced on Monday, April 20, 2020, that the Coronavirus fatalities in 294 cities across Iran have exceeded 32,800. The number of victims in Tehran is 5,550, Khorasan Razavi 2,595, Mazandaran 2,170, Khuzestan 1,450, East Azerbaijan 1,240, West Azerbaijan 990, Lorestan 738, Central Province 510, Bushehr 250, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 185.

The following are reports obtained by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) through its vast network from inside Iran and within the regime’s ranks:
According to reports from inside the regime, the number of buried people in the city of Karaj, Alborz province, due to the Coronavirus until April 18, 2020, was over 1100.

Around 30 people are dying and buried daily because of having contracted the coronavirus. Out of this number, 20 were diagnosed with the coronavirus and 10 suspected of being infected.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Tuesday, April 21, 2020, marks the 159th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
