NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF APRIL 27, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, April 27, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 36,200 in 301 cities across Iran.
The death toll in various provinces include: 6,060 in Tehran, 930 in Kermanshah, 835 in Lorestan, 660 in Semnan, 615 in Kurdistan, 590 in Yazd, 525 in Markazi, 360 in Bushehr, and 261 in Ilam. This is in addition to cases registered in other provinces.

Iran’s Regime Desperate yet Criminal Decision to Reopen Religious Sites and Sermons Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
As the coronavirus outbreak claims more lives in Iran, the Iranian regime’s president, Hassan Rouhani, announced on Sunday, that all the holy shrines, mosques, Friday prayers sermons and other religious sites will open starting early May. Like the regime’s criminal decision to send people back to work amid the coronavirus outbreak, reopening religious sites, particularly in the month of Ramadan, will result in more coronavirus cases and casualties.

In recent days, the Resistance Units and the youth supporters of the Mujahedin-e Khalq (PMOI / MEK) posted banners of, and messages of solidarity with the Corona-stricken people of Iran, by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and the Iranian Resistance’s leader, Mr. Massoud Rajavi, in the capital, Tehran, and many other cities, including Shiraz, Torbat Heydariyeh, Hamedan, Lahijan, Kerman, Rafsanjan, and Isfahan. They also wrote graffiti and slogans in various locations across the country.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced on Sunday, April 26, 2020, the Coronavirus death toll in 298 cities in Iran has exceeded 35,800. The number of victims in Tehran is 5,950, Khorasan Razavi 2,860, Gilan 2,590, Isfahan 2,350, Mazandaran 2,350, East Azerbaijan 1450, Sistan and Baluchestan 750, Ardabil 670, and Yazd 530.

Iran mid-level health officials question official coronavirus figures as death toll surpasses 35,800
Two mid-level Iranian health officials implied that the regime was covering up coronavirus figures with one saying that the real stats were 20 times higher than official figures.
An epidemiology professor at Tehran’s Medical Sciences University told a state-run daily that he believed the figures being announced by Iran’s Ministry of Health were “systematically much lower than reality”.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?
Monday, April 27, 2020, marks the 165th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
