Two Kurdish women start hunger strikes in women’s ward of Evin Prison
Two Kurdish women, political prisoners detained in the women’s ward of Evin Prison, went on hunger strike on September 1, 2020.
Mojgan Kavousi and Sakineh Parvaneh deprived themselves of food to protest the authorities’ refusal to grant leave to political prisoners during the coronavirus pandemic.

Iran: Municipal workers, others hold protest rallies demanding delayed paychecks
On Wednesday, September 2, municipality workers in the city of Aghajari, southwest Iran, gathered for third consecutive day, protesting the officials’ refusal to deliver on their paychecks for two months.
Popular reports indicate that waste containers in the city neighborhoods are full, and in some cases, spread out across streets.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on September 2, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 410 cities across Iran had passed 98,300. The number of victims in Tehran is 23,865, Khorasan Razavi 6,969, Qom 4,585, Isfahan 4,425, Lorestan 4,300, Golestan 2,808, Alborz 2,803, Fars 2,752, Kurdistan 2,006, North Khorasan 1,554, Hormozgan 1,314, Bushehr 1,213, Qazvin 849, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 635.

World Community Can Stop Further Executions in Iran by Helping Navid Afkari and Holding the Regime To Account for Its Past Crimes
The Iranian regime’s Judiciary has upheld the death sentence for Navid Afkari Sangari, arrested during 2018 nationwide Iran protests in Shiraz. There have been numerous calls to stop his execution, yet news reports indicate the mullahs are to execute Navid. Allowing the regime to do so is tantamount to giving a green light to the regime to continue its human rights abuses.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?
Thursday, September 3, 2020, marks the 292nd day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.
