NCRI - The mullahs' regime in Iran will collapse once Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad is toppled, Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, told the pan-Arab daily Asharq Al-Awsat on Sunday.
In a major interview that took up a full page of the newspaper, Mrs. Rajavi said that the Iranian regime is founded on three main pillars: obtaining a nuclear bomb, absolute domestic suppression and export of terrorism and extremism abroad.

Auvers-sur-Oise, April 3, 2016 – The Persian New Year was celebrated with a number of residents of Val d'Oise and French supporters of the Iranian Resistance at the headquarters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
Maryam Rajavi welcomed the Auvers-sur-Oise neighbors and supporters from nearby towns.
NCRI - Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), sent a video message to a Persian New Year ceremony at the United Kingdom's House of Commons on Wednesday.
In a meeting on Friday with Members of Parliament from the United Kingdom in Paris, Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), said that so long as the mullahs are in power in Iran, terrorism under the banner of Islam will continue to owe its existence to the regime.
Maryam Rajavi said the Iranian Resistance is warning yet again of the dangers posed by Iran’s ruling theocracy that inside Iran manifest themselves in the form of flagrant violations of human rights, and in the region work against stability by warmongering, terrorism and genocide in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon.
Maryam Rajavi: Hassan Rouhani is travelling to Europe to cover up the regime's weakness and isolation. He is trying to put up a moderate face to cover up the executions in Iran and the mullahs' role in the massacre of Syrians.

NCRI - Mrs. Maryam Rajavi congratulated Iran’s toiling workers on the International Labor Day and noted that the growing trend of protests and strikes bespeaks of their determination to overthrow the Velayat-e Faqih regime and put an end to its oppression, plunder and abuse.
Mrs. Rajavi pointed out that at least 1,300 worker strikes, sit-ins and demonstrations over the past year, specifically dozens of protests in recent weeks attest that Iranian workers defy the Velayat-e Faqih regime and will not give in to its injustice.
NCRI - "If the Iranian regime were to abandon misogyny the ruling theocracy would collapse. Thus, neither Khatami nor Rouhani, who launched a charm offensive of reform and moderation, do not get close to easing the oppression and subjugation of women," Mrs Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance said in a speech at the international conference held in Paris on the occasion of the International Women’s Day.
A great number of prominent political, social and art figures, as well as human rights and women’s rights activists from five continents and delegations representing dozens of Iranian women’s associations and organizations throughout Europe and the United States attended the conference.
