In a statement read in parliament on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, the Iranian regime’s lawmakers warned Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), against issuing a critical report on Iran’s nuclear program. “In the event of any infringement on the legitimate and recognized rights of the Iranian nation in the upcoming report of the Agency, and alignment with the interests of this nation’s enemies,” they declared, “you will be met with a decisive response from the Iranian people and their representatives in parliament.”
The statement, read aloud in the clerical regime’s parliament by MP Ahmad Naderi, openly asserted that Iran reserves the right to enrich uranium up to 93%—a level alarmingly close to weapons-grade purity. Though Tehran has not yet tested or declared a nuclear bomb, the regime is once again leveraging the threat of weaponization to pressure the international community into silence and inaction.
Claiming protection under Article 4 of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), the regime accused the IAEA of decades of bias and complicity with Israel and the United States. Lawmakers condemned the agency for allegedly failing to support Iran’s “peaceful” nuclear development, a deflection long used by Tehran to justify its own defiance.

The statement denounced the IAEA’s use of intelligence from “the Zionist regime” and accused Grossi of serving U.S. and Israeli security interests. “The agency must not become a tool in the hands of the criminal Zionist regime and the leaders of global evil,” the text declared.
Despite the regime’s repeated claims of peaceful intent, its history tells a different story. Since 1991, the Iranian Resistance has uncovered and publicized a vast clandestine nuclear infrastructure. Tehran’s insistence on expanding enrichment—now brazenly threatening levels near 93%—serves as yet another attempt to intimidate world powers and obstruct oversight.
This latest statement underscores how the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism continues to exploit the nuclear file not for civilian advancement, but as a weapon of geopolitical blackmail, without even possessing a bomb yet.
