"Dry Tsunami", a Looming Disaster for Iran

NCRI - It’s nearly four decades since the Iranian regime came to power, and water scarcity has turned to an imminent disaster as well as a social crisis, so that according to regime’s head of National Security Committee, “the country’s water crisis has practically raised into a security issue.”

More than 40 thousand Iranian villages have become inhabited, with their once residents now living in misery and poverty in marginal areas of big cities.

Iran: Here, Schools Are Heated With Firewood

NCRI - Poverty rages in the southwest of Iran. In some areas, students study in outdoor schools and extreme cold which is even painful to imagine.

Schools are heated by burning firewood, and teachers are burning the firewood in the classrooms to fight the cold, although they are aware of its dangers, but they have no other choice to escape the cold.
