According to nuclear experts, working on tritium is a strong indication of the regime’s intention to make nuclear bomb.

According to Hakamian, appointment of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a member of the Revolutionary Guards Corps, as the new president by mullahs’ supreme leader was meant to remove all bureaucratic obstacles to the efforts to acquire nuclear bomb.

Hakamian noted that the new Defense Minister of Iranian regime, Revolutionary Guard Mohammad Najjar, was involved in terrorist operations in Lebanon and other Arab countries in 1980s.

Sitting along with NCRI’s Foreign Affairs committee member in the panel was Dr. Sanabarq Zahedi, Chair of the NCRI’s Judicial Committee. He was particularly concerned with the mullahs’ terrorism.

Zahedi expressed deep concern over the abduction of two members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran in Baghdad earlier this month. Messrs. Hossein Pouyan and Mohammad-Ali Zahedi have been abducted by agents of the Iranian regime and it is feared that they will be transferred to Iran where they will face torture and execution.

Hundreds of political, human rights and judicial organizations and personalities have condemned this terrorist act and appealed to Iraqi authorities and the Coalition Forces to intervene to secure their safe release. As Hossein Pouyan holds a refugee status in Italy and this country is also a member of the Coalition in Iraq, Zahedi called on the authorities to act immediately for their safety.

Judicial Committee Chair also unveiled part of the clerical regime’s meddling in Iraq and enormous amount of money spent in support of terrorist activities in that country.
