He is one of the victims of 2009 uprising in Iran that his mother was arrested yesterday by the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and no information is available up to now. Beigi Family has been following up since yesterday and yet they have not received any information.

Addiction Is Rising Among Women in Iran: Rouhani's Vice-President

NCRI - The Vice President in the Cabinet of Hassan Rouhani in the Section of Women and Family Affairs, Shahindokht Molaverdi expressed her concern regarding women and family affairs as well as the rise of drug addiction among the Iranian women. She stated that 9% of addicts are of women in Iran.

As Khabaronline News Agency reported, Shahindokht Molaverdi in the National Congress of Youth Affairs referred to the reduction age of drug use in Iran and said:"It is alarming that the patterns of drug use have transformed from traditional drugs to industrial and psychotropic substances among the girls in particular."
