Ms. Sarvnaz Chitsaz, Chairwoman of t the Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, while hailing the freedom-seeking women of Iran, said on the anniversary of the’ International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women’, “The struggle for ending systematic and institutionalized violence against women and the dire remnants of a multi-faceted inequality, and reaching equal rights and fundamental human rights for Iranian women runs through the struggle against the misogynist, reactionary and anti-human regime.”

A young girl's tragic death in Mashhad,adds to the crimes of the misogynist Clerical regime

NCRI - On Saturday 24 September, following the repressive forces raid in Mashhad suburb of Hashmieh, a young girl trying to evade the raid fell to her death from the sixth floor balcony.

Head of the so-called public “Security” police, special operations teams  of the Razavi Khorasan Province,  Colonel - Nasser Hajjarian  acknowledged that this shocking episode happened while his team's raid on a flat in which an “Evil “celebration was in progress.  This attack by the regime’s suppressive forces was not under Mullahs’ judiciary orders and was arbitrary. In this attack, eight other young boys and girls were arrested.

Reject membership of misogynous Iranian regime in UN Women

Chitsaz - UN WomenNCRI - Ms. Sarvnaz Chitsaz, Chair of the NCRI’s Women’s Committee, described candidacy of the misogynous regime of mullahs for membership in the Board of Directors of the UN Women as an insult to all Iranian women and all women’s rights advocates around the world. She called on all countries not to support the regime’s membership in the UN body, a regime that has executed tens of thousands of women political prisoners, and do not allow the mullahs to exploit the UN bodies.

Iran: Lawyer of political prisoners arrested

NCRI - The Iranian regime arrested on Sunday the defense lawyer of a number of political prisoners, Mrs. Nasrin Sotoudeh, in Tehran. The agents of the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security in an earlier incident on August 28 had gone to her workplace and residence and confiscated some files and her private properties. The regime’s judiciary had accused her of “collaboration against the state security and propaganda against the establishment.”
