Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) urged the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to impose \u201csignificant penalties\u201d on the Iranian regime for its continued refusal to permit the IAEA to inspect its nuclear facilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe IAEA should also call on the UN Security Council to take further action against the Iranian regime,\u201d Ms. Ros-Lehtinen said in her statement.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, Rep Ros-Lehtinen met on Wednesday with Prime Minister of Australia Julia Gillard after the Prime Minister gave an address to a joint session of Congress.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, she said, \u201cI expressed to Prime Minister Gillard my particular gratitude for Australia\u2019s strong stance on Iran.
