Khuzistan province was the scene of widespread unrests last summer which lasted several weeks and the regime had to call in reinforcements to impose a curfew to bring the situation under control. 62 people were reported to have been killed in the riots and dozens wounded. Many of those detained in summer have not been yet released and some have already been hanged in public for their involvement in the unrest. <\/p>\n<p>No details for the trial of the two, if any, have been released which is considered to be a political case.
