Sheik Ahmed Abu Risha called on Iraqi Government and the international community to provide full protection for Iranian dissidents at Liberty before immediate transfer Ashraf resettlement in third countries.<\/p>\n
He told the Iraq’s NINA news agency on Saturday : “As long as the members of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) remain in Camp Liberty they will be facing massacre and attacks as they were targeted in February which left eight dead and more 100 wounded.<\/p>\n
“The attack was resulted from the Iranian dominance and influence over the government of Iraq that has made them a target for rocket and mortar attacks and restrictions have been imposed on them.<\/p>\n
“The United States is responsible for the attack as Iraq is under Iran’s influence. And the missile attack against the defenceless residents of Camp Liberty was carried out by the members of Iranian Quds Force.”<\/p>\n
Abu Risha stressed: “The Quds Force is threatening the security and stability in Iraq and controls political decision making in Iraq.”<\/p>\n
As proof, he referred to remarks made the Quds Force commander that he claimed he could end the public protests in the Al-Anbar province of Iraq, and that whatever happened in Iraq – including the killing and targeting of the PMOI in Iraq – was carried out by the Quds Force.<\/p>\n
Sheikh Abu Risha added: “The United Nations role in Iraq is very weak and unjust and far away from the truth. There are people like Martin Kobler, the UN Secretary General Representative in Iraq, who are acting very weakly and are not pursuing the issues.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
