The figures were released by the Khabar Online website on March1, which has links to Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani indicate that Iranian regime has earned $299 billion during the second term of Ahmadinejad.<\/p>\n
The report said the total oil export income during two terms of Ahmadinejad (2005-2012) sums up to $578 billion which is $145 billion more than the total oil income 14 years period from 1981-2004.<\/p>\n
The report said: “Oil exports have not been the country’s only income in this government. Sales of bonds, tax incomes and privatization are among the other main sources of income.<\/p>\n
“The total revenue, taking into consideration the dollar exchange rate during the years 2005 to 2012, show that government (during two terms of Ahmadinejad) has gained an income of about $863.5 billion.”<\/p>\n
This is while according to a regime official three-quarters of the population are struggling to meet their basic needs.<\/p>\n
The regime’s policy of pumping cash into the economy had set prices rocketing and devalued the currency, the head of Tehran’s Chamber of Commerce Yahya Al-Ishaq said on March 25.<\/p>\n
He told the state-run Fars news agency that instead of investing in jobs and production, the regime simply handed out cash – a policy called a ‘distributive economy’.<\/p>\n
