Ahmedinejad is planning a massive 100,000-strong rally in Tehran’s ‘Freedom Stadium’ on April 18, ahead of the ballot in June.<\/p>\n
A state-run news agency Raja News revealed that Ahmedinejad is using cash from the regime’s Heritage Organization to promote this campaign and to fill in the large stadium.<\/p>\n
“This meeting will be held next Thursday in the ‘Freedom Stadium’ with the participation of more than hundred thousand members of the organizations and different systems around the country under the pretext of celebrating and expressing gratitudes towards those involved in his Nowruz (Iranian New Year) trips.<\/p>\n
According to the news agency, a specific share has been determined for all provinces and organizations to fill the stadium<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani- the head of regime’s judiciary – had warned to Ahmadinejad not to use government\u2019s amenities to support his own political agenda.<\/p>\n
Amoli – a close ally of regime\u2019s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei \u2013 was quoted by the official website Shabakeh-Khabar on Wednesday as saying: “Those who use the government facilities on their behalf during the election will be charged and prosecuted.”<\/p>\n
