\u2022 Call on U.S. government and UN Security Council to take immediate action<\/strong><\/p>\n

NCRI – In a live interview that lasted for several hours and aired by al-Baghdadiya TV, Iraqi Hezbollah leader Watheg al-Battat, who already has undertaken the responsibility for the missile attacks on Camp Liberty on February 9 and June 15, 2013, set the stage for another massacre in Camp Liberty.<\/p>\n

He said he works under Khamenei\u2019s supervision and the Government of Iraq (GoI) has not issued any arrest warrant for him. In another video footage broadcast by al-Tagheer TV on July 8, he expressed his satisfaction with the GoI\u2019s cooperation for dispatching his forces to Syria.<\/p>\n

In the interview with al-Baghdadiya TV, responding to an the question, \u201cDid you attack on Camp Liberty?\u201d, al-Battat said:\u201cYes, I did, by Katyusha missiles, they are Monafeqin-e Khalq ( a derogatory term used by the Iranian regime for the PMOI) and all conspiracies are planned by them. \u2026They have planned importing explosives, explosive belts and silencers, and they have formed armed groups to attack the [Iraqi] government\u2026and they are designated by European Union and United Nations as a terrorist organization\u2026 the government has said time and again that this is a terrorist organization and it must be expelled from Iraq, but this organization has remained under US protection and it is continuing its activities in Iraq.\u201d<\/p>\n

There is no doubt that a several hours long interview in Baghdad could have not been carried out without coordination between al-Battat and the GoI. Hereby, al-Battat is setting the stage for more attacks against Camp Liberty. He had also announced in a number of interviews following June 15 attack that he would target Camp Liberty again and soon.<\/p>\n

In his latest interview when he was asked if \u201cHas your arrest warrant not been issued [by the GoI]?\u201d al-Battat said: \u201cI am not under prosecution. I have initiated political activities and I will take part forcefully in the next elections \u2026 there is no judicial order (against me)\u201d, otherwise \u201cpolice would arrest me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Al-Battat also said: \u201cAll Hezbollah (groups) are tied to Ali Khamenei; Lebanese Hezbollah is tied to Khamenei too and receives its orders from him and gets its legitimacy from him\u2026. I used to be in the IRGC and have studied in military university in Tehran.\u201d<\/p>\n

On July 8, al-Tageer TV channel broadcast a video footage from Battat saying, \u201cWe should secure the government and governmental entities and should be bound to the orders.\u201d He underscored that his party fully supports the GoI because it has facilitated his movements to Syria.<\/p>\n

While reiterating that the Iranian regime, with the cooperation of the Governemnt of Iraq, is pursuing to create another bloodbath in Camp Liberty via groups affiliated to the terrorist Quds Force, the Iranian Resistance calls on the U.S. government and the United Nations, and in particular the UN Security Council, to take immediate and effective measures such as compelling the GoI to return the residents to Camp Ashraf and to provide security necessities in Camp Liberty.<\/p>\n
