NCRI – Doctors have warned about the critical condition of political prisoner Ahmad Daneshpour Moqaddam, one of the arrestees on December 27, 2009 on the day of Aushura.<\/p>\n

Several doctors wrote a letter to the prison health officials explaining the critical condition of this political prisoner, losing one third of his weight and continuous bleeding.<\/p>\n

The letter writes: \u201cMr. Daneshpour has been suffering from bleeding from a year ago. The Ulcerative test and medications have not been useful. He has so far lost 30 kilograms due to intensive internal bleeding, from previously being 90 kilograms.\u201d<\/p>\n

The doctors demanded that the prison officials to urgently take an action regarding this political prisoner.<\/p>\n

Ahmad Daneshpour Moqaddam, now in Evin prison, was arrested along with his father Mohsen Daneshpour, his mother Mottahareh Bahrami and his wife Raihaneh Haj Ibrahim Dabagh on December 27, 2009 and they were all transferred to Evin Prison.
Two weeks after their arrest, state-run Kahayan daily quoted judiciary officials that the four arrested have been sentenced to death. However, the death sentences of his mother and wife changed to 10 years and 15 years imprisonment.<\/p>\n
