During this vicious attack, 52 defenceless Iranian refugees, including six women, belonging to PMOI opposition were massacred, many handcuffed and then shot at their heads. This is a crime against humanity which was done by the orders of the Iraqi authorities, influenced by Tehran.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>State Meps Silvia Costa, Patrizia Toia, Sergio Cofferati, Stephen Hughes and Glenis Willmott (S&amp;D) in a letter sent today to Catherine Asthon, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy<br \/>&#8220;The 7 refugees, six women and one man were taken away and we have received information that they have been transferred by helicopters to the Iraqi border city Al-Amareh to be extradited to Iran to face torture and execution.&#8221;<br \/>&#8220;We urge the EU high Representative to put pressure on Iraq to release these 7 missing and return them to Ashraf. We also call on the UN to send blue helmets and monitoring teams to camp liberty to prevent future attacks against 3000 Iranian refugees by Iraqi government.
