NCRI – A 13 year old boy who hanged himself with a rope, died after being transferred to the hospital in the city of Amol, according to a report by the governorate of this northern Iranian city.<\/p>\n
Last week, Mahmoud Khodadoust, an official of Iranian Legal Medicine Organization, said: \u201cLast year, we had 3640 suspect suicide deaths in the country. 2530 were male and 1110 were female.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ahmadi Moghadam, commander of State Security Forces (SSF), had previously stated that the statistics for suicides in Iran is twice the number of murders. The state-run Sharq daily reported: Every day in Iran from 5 to 10 people commit suicide.<\/p>\n
