This factory has been one of largest units producing tile and ceramics in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, a labor official from Sugar Cane Factory in Ahvaz said: \u201cRemaining 50 workers at this production unit have not received their income for over 33 months. This factory has been closed down from mid-Summer of 2008.\u201d<br \/>Prior to its closure, 280 workers used to be work at the factory.<\/p>\n<p>In the city of Shahrekord 80 per cent of the production units in this city have been closed down in the past 8 years.<\/p>\n<p>The workers blame the government\u2019s economic policies for the closure of the factories and said: \u201cMany large factories including Hamgam China, Shadkam, Darish, Jenat, Sahar China, \u2026 which had the largest production have been closed in the past 8 years due to incorrect economic policies of the government.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NCRI &ndash; Some 300 workers of the state-run greenery section and services in the city of Yasouj in southern Iran have not received their salaries for months.
