One of the teachers said: \u201cWe have protested because of our poor living condition and lack of shelter.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Monday, October 1, a group of parents of school children from Tehran gathered outside the city\u2019s education ministry. The parents protested against officials taking millions of Tomans from the children on bogus reasons of helping the poor and high expenses of school uniforms.<\/p>\n
So far no government official has been responsible or responsive to these problems.<\/p>\n
On Friday, September 27, more than 100 jewelry sellers gathered in protest outside the the main prayer center of the city Shahrekord. The protestors held large placards that wrote, \u2018we have no security\u2019.<\/p>\n
This protest followed a robbery at one of the jewelry stores. However, these protests have been a continuous act by the jewelers but there has been no response from the officials to foresee the problems.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, September 29, a group of female employees at Payame Nour University in the city of Andimeshk, Khuzestan Province protested against the dress code at the university which oblige the women to wear Chador at work.<\/p>\n
So far from the beginning of the new academic year, the female professors have protested twice outside the university management demanding the annulment of this rule.<\/p>\n
University officials have only threatened the protestors of expelling them from work.
\nOn Tuesday, October 1, people in the city of Hamedan protested outside the governor\u2019s office and objected towards the government for selling one of the cultural legacies.<\/p>\n
On Monday, September 31, families and relatives of prisoners sentenced to death in Qezel-hesar and Gohardasht prisons in Tehran staged a strike outside the regime\u2019s judiciary.<\/p>\n
Intelligence forces threatened the protestors and forcibly dispersed them. The families announced that they will continue with their protest until death sentences for their children is removed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
