Sahar Rahili – whose father was killed in the slaughter of political prisoners in Iran in 1988 – blamed the shooting of her uncle Alireza Khoshnevis and 51 other Iranian dissidents at Ashraf on September 1 on the ruling mullahs of Tehran.<\/p>\n
She pleaded in an open letter: “I am writing this letter to all conscientious people in the world. My dear uncle was martyred by Iranian regime\u2019s agents in Iraq on September 1. He was like a father to me as my father was martyred in the massacre of political prisoners in Iran in 1988.<\/p>\n
“While the dossier of the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners by the Iranian regime is yet to be presented to international courts, this regime committed another slaughter executing 52 of our brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n
“My dear uncle wholeheartedly sacrificed his life for the freedom of Iranian people. He gave up his comfortable personal life, his family, and his education for this Godly path and struggled in this path for over 35 years. Although I am very sad today, I shall continue on his path.<\/p>\n
“So I am asking you all to stand with residents of Camp Liberty and do your utmost for the freedom of the seven Camp Ashraf hostages of which six are women, and do not refrain from any endeavor to help your enchained sisters and brothers in Liberty prison to prevent another human catastrophe.”<\/p>\n
