Mrs. Maryam Rajavi calls for referral of human rights violations of mullahs\u2019 regime to UN Security Council<\/strong><\/p>\n

NCRI – On Saturday October 26, mullahs\u2019 regime henchmen hanged Habibollah Golparipour and Reza Esmaeili (Mamedi), two Kurdish political prisoners, on charges of cooperating with Kurdistan Free Life Party, in Urumiyeh central prison and Salmas prison respectively.<\/p>\n

Habibollah was a student from Sanandaj who was 29 years old at the time of his execution. He was arrested in October 2009 and severely tortured in prisons of Mahabad, Sanandaj, Semnan and Urumiyeh. Clerical regime\u2019s henchmen refuse to hand over his body to his family. A mullahs\u2019 court of injustice tried him in October 2010 on a mullahs\u2019 fabricated charge of \u201cMoharebeh (enmity with God) through propaganda activities and membership in an opposition party\u201d in a ludicrous trial that lasted just two minutes and sentenced him to death. The henchman sitting as judge told Habibollah in that same court that he \u201cwould surely put the noose around his neck\u201d.<\/p>\n

Reza Esmaeili, 34, from Salmas who was arrested in July 2009, was executed on the same charge of \u201cMoharebeh through propaganda activity and cooperation with parties opposed to the system\u201d.<\/p>\n

At the same time, sixteen political prisoners were collectively hanged in Zahedan prison on Khamenei\u2019s order. Regime\u2019s officials confessed that these people had been in prison for a long time and hanged only in revenge of the killing of a number of revolutionary guards in Saravan Friday night. Nine of those executed, in a statement published on websites concerning the September 1 massacre in Ashraf, had declared: \u201cPMOI members were killed because of defending the rights of Iranian nation\u2026 they left their homes and homeland to defend justice and rights of Iranian nation. We, political prisoners, condemn this terrorist atrocity by the Qods Force that was implemented by the army under command of Maliki and we call on supporters of human rights and UN member states to stop these terrorist operations by Iranian regime\u2019s Qods Force and to punish perpetrators and sponsors of these operations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, two other Kurdish political prisoners Zaniar and Loghman Moradi, 25 and 27 respectively, are about to be executed in Gohardasht prison.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, called on the international community to strongly condemn these executions and noted that silence and inaction in face of increasing number of executions that since the election of mullahs\u2019 new president has now surpassed 270, is but assistance to this medieval regime to continue and intensify its atrocities. She demanded referral of dossier of barbaric violation of human rights in Iran to the UN Security Council and for leaders of this regime to face justice for their crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Rajavi urged all Iranian people, especially the people and youth of Sistan and Baluchestan and Kurdistan to express their solidarity and sympathy with families of those executed.<\/p>\n
