{"id":15172,"date":"2013-11-07T11:12:41","date_gmt":"2013-11-07T11:12:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/issues\/human-rights\/15172-iranian-regime-executes-alleged-juvenile-offender-in-sanandaj"},"modified":"2023-01-14T15:48:47","modified_gmt":"2023-01-14T14:48:47","slug":"iranian-regime-executes-alleged-juvenile-offender-in-sanandaj","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/human-rights\/iranian-regime-executes-alleged-juvenile-offender-in-sanandaj\/","title":{"rendered":"Iranian regime executes alleged juvenile offender in Sanandaj"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"marivan-protest\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-41006\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2013\/11\/marivan-protest.jpg\" border=\"0\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" style=\"float: left;margin: 5px\" \/>NCRI &#8211; The Iranian regime&#8217;s judiciary in the western city of Sanandaj has executed a juvenile offender in the city&#8217;s prison.<\/p>\n<p>The prisoner, Saif Panahi, was arrested eight years ago at the age of 16 for alleged role in the murder of a man during an argue, Kurdistan Press Agency reported.<\/p>\n<p>The execution of the young man for a crime he allegedly committed while apparently still a juvenile shows a deplorable disregard for international law by the Iranian regime during the presidency of Hassan Rouhani.<\/p>\n<p>Since the sham presidential election in June in Iran, more than 300 prisoners have been executed including at least 20 political prisoners.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile on the same day,\u00a0a large number of residents of the city of Marivan, in western Iran, rallied in the city to protest the execution three Kurdish political prisoners.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Iranian regime has hanged at least three Kurdish political prisoners during the past two week.
