It is neither a change in nature, nor an abandonment of bomb making.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Saturday December 7, 2013, at an international conference in Paris on the eve of International Human Rights Day, a warning was issued against ignoring crimes against humanity in Ashraf and mass executions in Iran under the guise of nuclear negotiations with Iran. At the conference, prominent American and European personalities warned against reducing the sanctions at the time that the Iranian regime has not completely given up its aim of developing an atomic bomb.<\/p>\n<p>In the conference held in the presence of Mrs Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, Rouhani\u2019s government\u2019s record on violation of human rights in Iran and the massacre of the Iranian dissidents in Camp Ashraf was a key point of discussion. The conference emphasized the necessity of the immediate release of the seven Camp Ashraf hostages who were abducted by Maliki\u2019s Special Forces at the behest of the Iranian regime. Delegates also stressed the necessity of securing the protection and safety of the 3,000 dissidents of the Iranian regime in Camp Liberty.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/stories\/2013\/Gathering\/Dec7_Conf\/IMG_3181.jpg\" border=\"0\" style=\"float: left; margin: 5px; border: 1px solid black;\" \/>The conference was inaugurated by Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Le Garrett and was presided over by Naomi Tutu. Maryam Rajavi, Rudy Giuliani, Howard Dean, Michael Mukasey , Louis J. Freeh, Geir Haarde, and Naomi Tutu delivered speeches.<\/p>\n<p>Marking International Human Rights Day, Mrs Rajavi said: &#8220;The issue of Iran is the resistance of a nation which is at its wit&#8217;s end and demands that the religious fascism are removed and the path be paved for a free election and the rule of people\u2019s vote. But the mullahs are eradicating their human rights in the cruellest way in order to stay in power.&#8221;<br \/>Referring to Amnesty International\u2019s report on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/human-rights\/15344-amnesty-int-urges-action-to-address-deplorable-human-rights-record-in-iran\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">600 executions in the past eleven months, <\/a>out of which about 400 occurred after Rouhani\u2019s election, Mrs Rajavi said that on a daily basis, and in order to hold onto power, the mullahs were increasing suppression, especially through executions, imposing various discriminatory measures against the followers of certain religions, ethnic groups and nationalities, and various discriminations and violence against the women.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/stories\/2013\/Gathering\/Dec7_Conf\/IMG_3161.jpg\" border=\"0\" style=\"float: left; margin: 5px; border: 1px solid black;\" \/>Mrs Rajavi asked the international community and particularly western governments to refer the dossier of human rights violations by the Iranian regime to the UN Security Council, to support the freedom of political prisoners, and to make economic deals with the regime conditional upon upon the cessation of executions.<br \/>The President-elect of the Iranian Resistance called the signing of the nuclear agreement between the Iranian regime and the P5+1 as an important turning point in developments relating to Iran and added: &#8220;There are unjustified shortcomings in the agreements, yet the Velayat-e Faqih regime had no other choice but to retreat one step back due to its weakness and the impasse it is facing. However, one should not come to the conclusion that they have given up their intention of making a bomb. For this regime, negotiation and agreement is just a tactical ploy and not a change in its nature and not abandoning bomb making. It is, therefore, looking for an opportunity to return to the previous condition.&#8221;<br \/>She <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/nuclear\/15445-iranian-resistance-revelations-a-key-factor-behind-the-regime-s-nuclear-plight-part-ii\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">then referred to more than 100 nuclear disclosures made by the Iranian Resistance <\/a>and its leading role in preventing the regime from acquiring nuclear weapons. She stressed that endangering world peace and security by bomb-making is just part of this regime\u2019s function, and she added: &#8220;The Velayat-e Faqih\u2019s dictatorship has established its rule on the pillars of repression, terrorism and fundamentalism against the people of Iran. That is why a firm policy against this regime is imperative.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In another part of her speech, Mrs Rajavi said: &#8220;The massacre and hostage-taking in Ashraf on September 1 is a crime against humanity and the Security Council is responsible for it. The U.S. still holds the main responsibility especially because of repeated and written commitments it has made vis-\u00e0-vis the safety and security of Ashraf residents. Both before and after this catastrophe, we have called on the U.S., the EU and the UN entities to take measures, but no measures were taken. This is while a crime against humanity is ongoing by the Iraqi government holding the seven hostages. The Iraqi government has even taken the bodies of martyrs as hostage and has not given them back for burial after 100 days.<\/p>\n<p>On the 60th anniversary of \u2018December 7th\u2019 , the day marking the students\u2019 movement in Iran, the Iranian Resistance President-elect called on all Iranian students and youths to increase their protests against the mullahs\u2019 dictatorship that is on the brink of failure and retr<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the mullahs, negotiation and agreement is just a tactical ploy.
