Meanwhile, Hassan Danaifar, the Iranian regime’s ambassador to Iraq and commander of the terrorist Qods Force, has been ordered to make the necessary coordination with Nouri al-Maliki and his security advisor Faleh Fayaz to issue necessary directives to the security forces stationed around Baghdad airport and Camp Liberty for smooth transfer and firing of the rockets.<\/p>\n
The Qods Force has ordered its subordinate groups to quickly prepare for another attack on Camp Liberty that would be coordinated with Iraqi security organs.<\/p>\n
On December 20, the Iranian Resistance announced that when Maliki visited Tehran in early December, he had agreed to all conditions set by the Iranian regime to support him for a third term as prime minister and he had agreed to provide further services to the regime.<\/p>\n
Giving a free hand to the Iranian regime’s Intelligence and Qods Force to act against members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) in Camp Liberty and to establish a Qods Force headquarters in the vicinity of the camp, as well as intensifying suppressive measures against them, are among the conditions set by the regime.<\/p>\n
During the same trip, in a meeting with Qasem Soleimani, Faleh Fayaz committed himself that attacks against the PMOI would persistently continue.<\/p>\n
Another attack on Camp Liberty is being planned while Government of Iraq has yet to hand over the bodies residents killed of the fourth attack on Camp Liberty and that of the 52 victims of September 1 massacre in Camp Ashraf to their relatives and friends for burial and continues to deprive the residents from security requirements.<\/p>\n
On December 30, residents\u2019 representatives once again provided the UNAMI, UNHCR, and U.S. officials with the list of minimum security requirements needed to protect the Camp Liberty residents against future attacks and reduce casualties.<\/p>\n
Return of 17500 T-walls, transfer of protective helmets, vests and medical equipment from Camp Ashraf to Camp Liberty, allowing construction of buildings at least for the patients and the disabled, are among the requirements that since a year ago has been discussed repeatedly for hundreds of times with U.S., Iraqi and UN officials. However, the Government of Iraq continues to obstructs their provision which demonstrates its ominous intent to cause more casualties among residents.<\/p>\n
Moreover, Government of Iraq is obstructing the replacement of housing trailers, ablution trailers, computers and other living equipment that have been destroyed in the recent attack, with similar items available in Camp Ashraf.<\/p>\n
At the same time, on Thursday, January 2, Government of Iraq declared that the arrest of Watheq al-Battat, commander of the fictitious Al- Mukhtar Army. If this is not merely a farce, then interrogating him who himself has assumed responsibility for the rocket attack on Camp Liberty has to be conducted in presence of residents\u2019 representatives, especially that the Iranian Resistance is quite well informed about the Iranian regime\u2019s proxies in Iraq and has previously published a list of 32000 of these paid agents.<\/p>\n
As Iraqi media have reported, Al-Mukhtar Army announced its foundation only five days prior to the first rocket attack on Camp Liberty emphasizing its support for the central government in the battle against \u201ccorruption and terrorist organizations\u201d.<\/p>\n
A few hours after announcing its existence, it staged a military parade at the Sana\u2019a Club in Baghdad that its security was provided by the Iraqi army and police.
As reported by credible Arab media, Mukhtar alludes to Maliki; and groups affiliated with Maliki call him the \u201cMukhtar of the time\u201d.<\/p>\n
On 8 July 2013, Iraq\u2019s Al-Tagheer television broadcast a video in which Battat said: \u201cHis party is supporting the government with all its power because it has facilitated their passage to Syria\u201d; therefore, \u201cwe need to abide by government\u2019s orders\u201d.<\/p>\n
Emphasizing that the silence of U.S. government and the White House in face of Iraqi government\u2019s defiance in providing the security minimums is astonishing, unacceptable and unjustifiable.<\/p>\n
Reminding the written and repeated commitments by U.S. and UN regarding Camp Liberty residents\u2019 safety and security, the Iranian Resistance demands immediate action to secure the release of the seven hostages and to provide minimum security requirements for Camp Liberty.<\/p>\n
