Dozens of youths have defied Iranian security forces to take part in the ceremony in the city of Khalfieh to remember two Arab political prisoners executed last week.<\/p>\n

Cultural activists Hashem Shabaninejad and Hadi Rashedi were both transferred to an unknown location on January 26 and put to death, the regime’s intelligence ministry reported.<\/p>\n

The ministry had ordered the victims’ families to hold the funerals at their houses and within 24 hours – but demonstrators flouted the ban to wave banners and chant slogans in memory of the men.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
